Conservation Services
The Allegan Conservation District provides general conservation assistance through a fee for service program. These services include survey and design work for wetland restorations, streambank stabilization sites, erosion issues and other riparian projects. The Conservation Office also provides application assistance for state and federal permits; including construction design work and mapping assistance for these permits. Initial site visits for all conservation services are based upon an initial $60.00 site visit fee.

No-till Drill Rental
The ACD provides a Truax No-till Drill for rent to all landowners in Allegan County. The no-till drill has three seed boxes used for seeding alfalfa or clover, native warm/cool season grasses and small grains. Rental cost of the no-till drill is $135.00 up to 10 acres + $6.00/acre there after.
Grassland Services
The ACD also provides a new turn-key native grassland planting service to land owners! We have coordinated a team of professional grassland service providers that are available to landowners through Michigan Conservation Districts. Grassland Program Brochure
