Join the Allegan Conservation District for this presentation by the Tribe about what they are doing to restore sturgeon to the Kalamazoo River Watershed, and why lake sturgeon are so important to our waters. Sturgeon are one of the oldest species in the Great Lakes, living over 100 years and can grow over 200 pounds. The long life of the nmé requires management of resources with this forward-looking approach.
